Applications are now being accepted for the 2009-2010 Academic Year Program. Auditions will be held beginning at 4pm on September 12th and 13th. Call or email us today to set up an audition day and time, and download and copmlete an application form from the "Academic Year Program" page.

The Summer Festival 2009 photos are now available to view and purchase!!! Go to the "Photos" page and follow the directions there. You will need a password from Millette to view the pictures.

Acceptance letters have been mailed and we are now in the process of forming ensembles and assigning repertoire. Thank you to all of you who auditioned for this summer's Festival, it's going to be a terrific season! To any parents who would like to help out this summer in any way, from providing snacks to taking photos to post on the website to helping clean up after the final concert, please contact Millette. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

We are very excited to announce our upcoming benefit concert on Sunday, March 8th at Trinity Episcopal Church in Fairfield. Proceeds from the free concert will benefit the CMC scholarship fund and the music department at The Unquowa School. The concert includes the world premiere of Eugenie Rocherolle's "Piano Trio #3: Century Music," which will be performed by the CMC ensemble "Trio Esprit," and a performance by duo pianists Alexander and Daykin. Our flyer regarding the CMC Fall and Spring semester chamber music program will be available and a signup sheet to be considered for placement will be posted.

Our premier piano trio, Trio Esprit, Chelsea Smith, violin, Carlyn Kessler, cello and Emily Watkins, piano have just won the $1,000 first prize in the Center for Chamber Music Competition in Greenwich. Congratulations to all!!!

CMC has inaugurated a new program, commissioning a new work for a student group that shows real commitment and growth in ensemble maturity and is ready and prepared to give the world premier. Trio Esprit has shown such great potential and has been selected to premier a new piano trio which has been written for us by Eugenie Rocherolle Details about the premier performance - date and venue will be announced shortly.
