"CMC was such a great environment for me to be in as a musician. Having so many teachers/music enthusiasts around has given me the chance to really improve my playing in such a short period of time."
"How grateful I am that two of my children were able to experience a summer chamber music camp! Millette Alexander's experience...gives much depth to this festival. I was especially concerned that my 9 year old boy may not have the attention span to last that many hours per day 'doing music'. After the first day he asked if it was too late to sign up for the second session, too.
"
"Festival opened up a whole new direction in my music career. Before CMC, I did not know what chamber music was. In October of 2004 I attended the National Festival of Chamber Music. If I had never attended CMC, I might not have opened myself up to the great world of chamber music."
"The best thing about CMC was that it was a very relaxed, yet efficient atmosphere. The coaches were welcoming, the music was interesting, and the program was exciting. I play the viola, and CMC allowed me to explore fun new techniques for playing the instrument. I learned a lot of new things, such as modes, cadences, composing styles, and the lives of many composers. The simple fact that I could share all of this great information with friendly peers and coaches was the greatest joy one can possibly ever imagine. CMC changed my life in that it ignited and continued to fuel a passion for chamber music that still lingers with me to this day."
