Foundation Scholarship Support
Created in 2014 in memory of former CMC student Annie Wiswell, the Annie Scholarship Fund provides an annual award of $550 towards CMC tuition to a student who displays outstanding musicianship with love for and commitment to chamber music, who spreads the joy of music making, and is dedicated to the support of fellow musicians.
Annie Memorial Merit Scholarship Winner
2017 Meghai Choudhury . . .
has been a very special member of our CMC family for two years. In her quiet way, she listens intently to the others in her group, makes subtle and perceptive comments about ideas for improvement and rewards everyone with her sweet, warm smile. She represents the heart of chamber music - - preparing fully for rehearsals, listening to and responding to her group members, cooperating with the whole process of carefully and enthusiastically preparing a masterpiece to be shared with the audience. We are so happy to welcome her back this year!
Financial Aid is available to all students with demonstrated need.
Annie Memorial Scholarship
2017 Michael Jensen . . .
has a deep, internal commitment to his cello and to music itself. From one rehearsal to the next, he displays an inner development and a genuine, growing knowledge and feeling for the piece he is working on. He listens intently to the others in his group, and you can feel and hear this linkage. It is the heart of chamber music. He expresses great joy in having the opportunity to play chamber music!
